How did Luna's come into the world?
Kendall and Blakeney, one day, met at Taco Bell to discuss horse show opportunities. But as they ate Doritos Locos Tacos, the thought crossed their minds, what if WE started a taco restaurant? They loved tacos, so it seemed like a fantastic idea! Besides, they were best friends growing up together, and this had been their dream; opening a restaurant! A discussion was necessary. They discussed for hours and were finally kicked out of Taco Bell when it closed. They came to the compromise of starting a taco food truck. They originally had no idea what they were in for. They worked for DAYS thinking of a name, logo, and slogan. While that seemed to be the easiest part, it took them surprisingly long. La Luna, La Luna y La Estrellas, and La Estrellas de La Noche didn't cut it. Blakeney finally had the idea of Luna's. Kendall liked it, and they kept it. Luna the wolf became the logo. Her slogan, "Howling good Tacos!" stuck. Then, funds, licenses, and other things were troublesome. Months passed, and they sorted out what they needed, bought the supplies, and painted their truck. They sold amazing foods and were very popular. Luna's remains amazing!
